Dr. Candice Hall, D.C., founder of Next Advanced Medicine provides recommendations for boosting your immune system.
“I am here to talk to you about Corona Virus and what you can do to protect yourself. So we want to talk to you about best practices and ways to protect yourselves. We’re also going to talk about what we do, I have had many phone calls and requests from patients asking what it is we do during this virus and how else they can protect ourselves. I’m going to share with you not only what we are recommending for our patients and also what I’m doing, what the doctors in the office are doing, and what we are doing for our families.
There are two sides to the immune system, this is the best way I can explain it. One side that is really good at fighting bacteria, and one side that is really good at fighting viruses. There are ways you can actually stimulate the immune system to be stronger in the area of fighting viruses. This is what we are recommending especially to our patients that are diabetic or auto-immune. Many patients do not realize that their disease process ultimately causes immune suppression. The biggest problem with diabetics regarding their immune system, is that elevated blood sugar definitely puts them at risk and suppresses their immune system. The number one thing you could be doing is to lower your lower blood sugar, which is exactly what we are doing with you. So we want you to stay on your programs, follow your doctor’s advice, and do everything you can to make sure your blood sugars are where they are supposed to be so that you are not immune-suppressed.
If you are an auto-immune patient, and you are a t2 driver (I’m not going to go into this in this video). Being auto-immune can cause you to have an immune system that is dis-regulated and have more trouble fighting a virus, so the same recommendations apply to you. So let me tell you what those recommendations are. This is what we as a clinic are doing, what we are doing for ourselves, and for our families.
#1, we have devised an Immune Support Package, there is a link below in the video and in the description. I’m going to explain what it is, and why we are taking it. https://nextadvancedmedicine.com/ImmuneSupportTips/
One of the first items in the Immune Support Packet is ADEK PRO. These are fat soluble vitamins that are very necessary for fighting viruses, especially viruses that attack the Respiratory system. We’ve put additional Vitamin D in there, it is recommended that about 5000 IUs of vitamin D be taken a Day for about 30 days to fight any type of viral infections. If you have recently had your vitamin D levels checked and they are above 65, we recommend 3000 IUs a day. But most people are not at this level and Vitamin D is absolutely essential for a properly functioning immune system.
The next thing we recommend is Biociden toothpaste.
We know that many diseases and bacterial and viral infections actually start in the mouth. Biociden toothpaste has the ability to break down pathogens that enter the body through the mouth, and also has the ability not to kill off the good healthy bacteria.
Next we recommend Liposomal Vitamin C. Everyone has heard how important vitamin C is for the immune system. The problem is that they don’t really know what kind to take or how much, if you take too much you may get gastrointestinal upset. Liposomal vitamin C is much more bio-available, meaning you absorb much higher levels of the vitamin C because the particles are small.
We are also using Zinc. Zinc is important in fighting both viral and bacterial infections and supporting the immune system. For all products, follow the instructions on the bottle. Click on the link below to see all these products.
We also want to talk about fear. We are asking you to do your best, especially if you are one of our patients, to keep your stress levels down. Stress hormones like adrenaline and cortisol suppress the immune system. We are not asking you not to be diligent or smart. We are asking you to divert your attention into the things you are doing at the moment, stay close to present time, consciousness as you can, and enjoy your moments with your kids, your family, and your job.
Here are the practical things you can do to protect yourself. Of course, you should wash your hands. People are making their own sanitizers because things are running out. Certainly alcohol in sanitizers takes away germs.
I know Doterra makes Onguard which is good at getting rid of viruses and bacteria.
7th Generation makes an anti-bacterial soap that is non-toxic. So you are staying away from the chemicals but getting the anti-bacterial, anti-viral aspect.
Next we recommend, if you don’t feel well, if you have a cough, sore throat, or any signs of a cold, its best to stay home and take care of yourself. If you are a patient here, you can make a phone appointment. We are here to support you through this next virus, which today is the Coronavirus. Good Luck.”
